When presenting the flag Jason said ‘we have the most wonderful cheer squad in the AFL’. He thanked them for their hard work for our club and its supporters and for loving the Purple Bombers.

The cheer squad will wave our flags for the first time at tonight’s game against the Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium.

The flag design was a fabulous community effort, with the original concepts voted on via our Facebook page. As a result of the incredible community feedback we refined the design and came up with a flag we are certain every one will be proud of.

Through the Facebook promotion we also connected with Garrett Hebden from Better Bathrooms and Kitchens who generously offered to sponsor the flags, taking them from concept to reality. We look forward to seeing many Purple Bombers at tonight’s pre-game meet-up to cheer on the Bombers and check out our new flags in action.
