Markit Lawyers is a small, general practice law firm. The main areas of practice are conveyancing, business, leasing, Wills and Estates, Family Law and general legal advice. The firm was established in 2013 with the aim to provide great quality legal services at affordable prices. There is the clear intention to not present as too “lawyerly” or stuffy. One client described Maria (the Principal) as the “least lawyerly lawyer”, which they found refreshing and fun. If the scope of work required doesn’t fit within the firm’s parameters, referrals will be given to other firms, based on experience or specialisation.
